~Simple Beauty~

~In A Blue Sky~

When I think of a Rose, I think of many different things,
Thoughts flood my mind, it's like being in a dream.
When I think of a Rose, I think of butterflies with colorful wings,
Or a tiny hummingbird, hovering on a sunbeam.

Tho what is a Rose, but just another garden flower,
No different than a daisy, or a white calla lily.
They all bloom in my yard, any day, any hour,
Am I missing something, or am I being silly.

A Rose is not just a flower, in my mind it's much more,
To find out what a Rose is, that will be my duty.
The answer to my question, and I knew it before,
A Rose, more than a flower, a Rose, just Simple Beauty.
