Complicated planning
The weather has deteriorated today (but no rain) - and I had to wait in for some deliveries. I really did not feel inspired to spend a lot of time on today's image, so I know it is dreadful in execution as well as my interpretation of the theme. The Olympics are approaching (I have to say I'm not really very interested), and the Torch will be going through the BCLM (publicised on the BCLM web site). I hope to be able to take some images, and I'm planning already, but choice of equipment and where and how to use it is very complicated! The equipment shown in this photo is just some of what I may deploy (mounting cameras will be an issue, which is why the Speed Graphic catalog is open - I'm not allowed to show the map etc for the day). I think it will be difficult to move around during the Torch-Bearer's run, so I'm trying to think how I can use remote cameras (difficult as I expect I will have to turn them on at least 30 minutes before the main event)! The cameras I'd hope to use under my own control aren't included in the picture, partly because the OM-D isn't available here in the UK yet!
This was shot with the Olympus E-P3, 14-150mm.
