it aint broke

Today's discussion:
I was standing on my balcony trying to shoot some faraway pigeons with an old MF lens when this cat appeared out of nowhere and started staring at me. Without thinking I stopped my manual focus lens to F8, focussed, zoomed set shutter speed and shot, all this in a few seconds and without any conscious thought on my part. It just happened.

This made me realize why camera makers do not implement old school controls (leica excused) on digital cameras, why fix it if it aint broke?
