The Antonine Wall

The line of the wall - a stone and turf fortification - built by the Romans across the Central belt of Scotland. This is the stretch going up to Barr Hill where a fort was situated.
In all a nine mile walk today, starting and finishing at the Forth and Clyde canal at Kilsyth.
