Magnolia

I had a little time to play around with this, the first flower on Irene's shaded Magnolia tree. Just a little diversity from the bog standard plant pic.

I did take a photo of her empty living room, except for the piano, which is still looking for a home. It's too sad. I've completed emptying her life from the house today. Just another days work in the garage and an attempt to convince someone/anyone that they have room for that piano.

Tuesday will see new life in the old house. An excited young couple will move in with their young son. I had hoped they'd buy the instant the husband came through the door to view the property for the first time. He was apologetic for the holes in his socks when he took his shoes off at the door and was bouncing for joy at what was his idea of a perfect place to raise his family. I believe he put an offer in within 2 hours, without his wife having seen it. It's wonderful that the house will be a family home again and will not turned into a development building plot.
