Complicated: Light painting

I thought I'd finish March with a challenge pic, and had great fun attempting this. A small LED pen-torch, and paint round the defender - thought it would be straightforward and easy - far from it. I had to think of an order to make sure I didn't forget too much, then of course - I did, but checked the pic on the back of the camera before I moved the tripod, so painted the other bits over another three or four pics. Tried merging them in camera using Nikon's Image Overlay, which showed where I'd still missed bits, and so on, until I was happy.

Had to turn (almost) all the lights out round the house - the light on the car is totally from the torch

Phew!
