I took this photo today for round 20 of the Get Pushed group on Flickr . This is a group where photographers get paired up, they challenge each other to take photos in a style they wouldn't normally. I was set the following challenge:

'My challenge for you is to do a seeing color, where your photo consists of mainly one color. For your challenge, something in the cool color range would be nice, like a green, blue or purple'

A lovely challenge for this time of the year as there is more and more colour emerging as spring gets on it's way. I was originally looking at green for my chosen colour but I kept on seeing so much purple around that it had to be that! This photo consists of a purple top, 4 different types of purple flowers, purple water (blackcurrant) and I couldn't resist a bit of processing to give it a bit more of a romantic feel.

In other news...

Glorious weather here today, not too hot but lovely and sunny, no clouds at all! Daddy took Chap to the cinema this morning & I took Little Lady to the park & bumped into a friend, which was nice. After lunch we played in the garden a bit whilst P cleaned the oven (hallelujah!) and then went for a lovely walk along the public footpaths on the fields around our village. Beautiful views.
