Purple Passion ...

.... Purple Pasque Flower to be more precise (Pulsatilla vulgaris) the name deriving from the fact that it flowers around Easter time. I always look forward to this plant blooming, for its gorgeous purple/mauve flowers (there are red and white forms too, but with my passion for purple what other colour could I have? lol), the wonderfully silky hairs it carries prolifically and the serrated leaves. It's a quite exquisite plant - and this is the first bloom for me this spring so I'm happy to see it :))
