Danger in the wild

Last sunday I saw very few vehicles but one I did pass was a police van specialising in collisions. I was perplexed. However, this week I learned from the cafe owner in Elsdon that the van spends most weekends driving around the area waiting for the inevitable motor biker to come off.

The red flag isn't for traffic but to signify that the land is used for artillery practice. Never a dull moment in the countryside
