Lake of Menteith Hotel

When I was pregnant with Orla, we mostly spent our weekends going on drives in the country. We haven't been so good at that lately, but I think we'll do a lot more exploring now [April 2012] that she's old enough to walk a fair distance and more interested in things. This was the first time we'd ever visited the Lake of Menteith hotel. We had scones with cream and jam and pots of tea in the bar. I seem to recall saying that we'd definitely have to come back some time for dinner and stay over. We still haven't done that. We did go back one other time just after she was born, but shockingly we don't have a photo! Stuff like that doesn't happen now that we blip.
