Victim

I have to admit to spending a lazy day recovering from the weekend's exertions and yesterday's lunch party, so it was late afternoon before I got out of the house. More miserable weather greeted me, and I would have been happier tucked up in my cosy indoors. So would this rather sad-looking umbrella, I suspect, which obviously fell victim to a sudden gust of wind. Rather resourcefully, and civic-mindedly, its owner tucked it away on top of this card display carousel outside a local shop. It made a colourful addition.
