Super Sunday Football

A day of football in the SudsClan house today.

Jen was at Celtic Park taking advantage of her dads ticket. Thoroughly enjoyable 2-0 victory taking Celtic to within a point of the SPL Championship. Great atmosphere, and emotional applause for Stan Petrov on 19 minutes. Just as the Villa support did yesterday, the Celtic support wished their ex-player all their support. God bless you Stan.

In addition to the Celtic game, Falkirk were live on BBC Alba winning the Ramsdens Cup (League Challenge Cup), for the 4th time. I was at the previous 3 finals, the first being in 1993! Today we defeated Hamilton Accies 1-0 in front of 5210 spectators, the majority being Bairns. Well done to all connected with Falkirk FC, a first piece of silverware for some very young lads, including Darren Dods(!).

Celtic's turn for the trophy I'm sure next week.
