Redwing Blackbird II

The day started out grey and chilly but by late afternoon it was beautiful. After catching up on the news with a friend over lunch, I had a little nap and then worked in the garden a bit.

I worked this morning and my 8:00 group refused to talk for almost 8 minutes. Dead silence, no eye contact. Excruciating all around. Toward the end of the 8 minutes one of them started to giggle and then they were all laughing...April Fools. I had had every intention of sitting there for the whole 50 minutes in dead silence if I had to. Laughter one over, thank goodness.

All and all, a good day.
