Arenal Volcano

This was our first day in Costa Rica at the base of the Arenal Volcano. It's last eruption was in 1968, but until recently it was regularly pumping out lava. Right now all it does is smoke as you see in this photo. It was good that I took it now, since the restof our time in the area the top was shrouded in clouds.
