leaf fall has started.....
I am lucky to be the guardian of a large Chinese chestnut in my front garden. I'm not sure I own it- it is on my property, so I shall look after it- be its guardian. It is large and has the most leaves I have ever seen on one tree. Autumn is such a bonus- leaves drop and create mulch for next year's garden. I usually pack them into large rubbish bags, and by magic next season they turn into lovely compost/mulch. This is the beginning with some chestnuts dropping that are still green. You will see more of it over the season I am sure......
