Cuppa, anyone?
I am so so SO sick of the totally rubbish kettles that you buy in Britain these days. It seems that every single time design is prioritised over function. I mean to say - why produce kettles that leak? It would seem to defeat the purpose.
I have had to replace three cordless kettles in less than a year because each has sprung a leak. The worst one only lasted two months. And talking to my elderly neighbour, she's had exactly the same experience.
And its not only the cost of replacing these useless bits of junk - electricity is also very expensive.
So now we've started using a kelly kettle, which boils a vast amount of water in no time at all, and uses a couple of twigs and a few leaves to do so.
WIN!
