Glory is fleeting

Bye for now

Our last day in Galloway.
We've had a lovely holiday and the sun was still shining as we left (though it got a bit duller later on).
We popped in at 'The Smithy' on the way out of New Galloway to get some sandwiches for the journey and a bit of caramel shortcake for home. The sandwiches as you'd expect were brilliant.
Inspired by some of the photos in the Galloway photo collective show last night I've 'panoramarised' this view.
We took the long way home via Leadhills over what looked like very bare hills, but as we drove we spotted a black grouse so stopped for a look through the binoculars. And then saw a huge hare. Nice to see a last bit of wildlife.
