Finally we have grey skies, a sprinkling of rain and muted colours so these two clad in white positively glowed walking down a street in our village. Couldn't resist asking if I could take their photo.
As it happens, Judith, his wife, taught Art History at TAFE in the Art and Design course. A feisty and straight talking lecturer she made the subject live and a great teacher from whom I learned so much. An art critic and blogger too with a sharp eye and generous pen.

That's small towns for you...tiny degrees of seperation.
