Proof it works!

at Gruz, outside Dubrovnik, there is an armoured car as a memorial to those who defended Croatia in 1991.
It was built in the local ship yard and looked as though it had been thrown together but it clearly worked as there was a line of neat dents made by bullets right along its body.
It was right beside a children's play area.
