Norfolk with mum

Not a lot of photos this past week life still rather mad with it ending in a shed in Norfolk with my mother and step dad!

A treat for the pair was planned and I duly said I would take them away. Well to say our holiday cottage was not quite as descridbed with beds of torture! My poor mum spent 2 nights on the sofa as the beds were so bad.

Anyway we made the most and I listen lovingly to mum moan for the week end, smiled and nodded when expected and carried out my daughterly duties to the full!

Jess did her daughterly duties to me and came too, I needed all the help I could get!

Bless them its really hard when you realise your parents are old people! All the things she/we laughed at grandad and various oldies in our life in the past she now does herself. Food, pills and the bits that hurt are the total focus of their lives. Does this happen to us all?

I have said to my kids that they are to take me somewhere cold dressed in my vest and pants and leave me, I think the Eskimos have a point!
