Tulips I

These yellow tulips were brilliant in color, but I like to experiment with black & white just a bit just to see what happens. I am always pleasantly surprised with what a dramatic difference it makes and how the black & version ultimately becomes my preference.

With the absence of color, the play of light and tonality takes over and renders an entirely different perception of the image.
