Reading Half Marathon

One of my favourite events is standing and watching the runners, this year over 20,000. From my school, we lay on some musical entertainment for the runners...playing jolly songs like Hawaii 5-0, or the Rocky theme, or Eye of the Tiger, We are the Champions and even Run Rabbit Run. The runners love it, and so many wave or clap as they go by.

These were the 2 leading runners, both from Kenya; i love their slight silhouettes and the shadows in this pitcure as they flashed past. I think they completed the 13 miles in 63 minutes. Strangely, they didn't have time to wave.
