Houses of Wilmington #14
Parker-Saunders House (1844,1871)
John Parker owned the house on 401 South Front Street from 1844 until 1859. It was then bought by the merchant Charles Robinson and his wife who war members of the First Presbyterian Church. When the church manse was not ready for its new minister, Rev. Joseph R Wilson, the Wilsons stayed with the Robinsons. It is significant because Rev.
