Amor

This was the last float of Palm Sunday, carrying the Amor brotherhood's Virgin Mary. It has just passed through Seville Cathedral and is on its way back to its own church. There are 40 strong young men carrying the float which shuffles and sways in time to the music. Although it is almost 1am early on Monday morning, Seville is crowded with people enjoying the spectacle and having a wonderful, civilised, sociable party where people dress smartly and behave respectably and respectfully. It is awesome!
