Sandhill Crane and Babies

(Grus Canadensis) Went to my friend's house to take photos of the Sand Cranes today. She has a small pond in front of her house and they have babies almost every year. My friend says that she's a grandma again when the chicks hatch each year. I hope to go out every week or two so I can chronicle their growth.

We just call them Sand Cranes but they're actually Sandhill Cranes.
