Moa

The Kiwi is, of course, unmistakeably a New Zealand bird the Moa is perhaps less well known but then it is extinct having been hunted for food by the locals many years ago. This representation of a Moa can be found outside a tourist souvenir shop in Downtown Auckland. Frankly it's not the sort of creature that I would want to bump into at any time of the day or night!
