Springtime's Bride

Budding bride of Springtime
In innocent's garb
Of pure white robe

Stepping to altar unashamed
No blush of Summer
Nor Winter's guile

Green draped cloak of youth
On shoulders small
Protect in splendour

Brown carried staff of strength,
Yielding yet not,
Status defines

Strength in purity of innocence
Aglow at daybreak
Springtime's bride
