Wet snow

Well, the forecasters were right for once in their shameless error strewn predictions again and we got some snow. Here at the coast we had maybe an inch if that, but oh boy was it wet snow!
Maeve the Deerhound was very reluctant to plod along in it this morning so her first walk of the day was curtailed. Paws were cleared of picked up slush and dried with one of her towels too!
My blip today is of our bird table, for no other reason than to show the snow :-)
One side of most buildings round here was plastered with the soggy stuff and it has been dropping off the side of our house making various thump noises all morning. Pretty much gone now, although we still have the heavy wind that came along with the snow. Brightening a bit, which is always a good thing :-)
I decided against the beach today. Maeve would have objected strongly!
