Commercial Street Camborne

The old building on the corner that has the grey and orangey block, has always fascinated me, especially when there is a good sky and light. This lunch time after the U3A CC group, I walked into town, the light sky was good, I had my new camera with me, so took several images of it.

The clock on the far corner, was last year restored. The clock repairer Dave Clarke said, it is a very good quality clock, it is a lot small than Big Ben but, basically, it's the same clock. The clock was installed by the Bassett Family, they were the big mine owners around here. The clock was built in 1875 and made by Dent of London.
