Baku at night.

A year and a half ago the building in the background was a 3 storey soviet box of a building.. then an ornate facade was built around it - you can still see the old walls of the building inside through the new windows of the facade!

In the foreground is a Baku Taxi from the London Cab Company. They are purple in Baku, and mostly run on the meter.... although the drivers are likely to refuse to use the meter in adverse weather conditions and if picked up outside 5* hotels. They are Baku taxi drivers after all!
