Elizabethisms
Been trying to take note of some of the wonderful things she comes out with.
She is now calling herself a big girl. I'm not really sure if she understands what it means, but she is insistant!
I said "Good morning Rebecca." and Elizabeth said "she's not good morning, she's Becca!"
She told me to day: "I not a happy girl" because she didn't have her dummies.
When the tumble dryer didn't turn on, she said "Daddy fix it with his batteries".
We shared some biscuits, and when she saw the empty packet she said "are you finished all those yummy bik-kets?"
When it was raining this evening she said it was like "tipping a watering can." She had been helping me water my hanging baskets the other day... I think that one's quite philosophical. :P
I don't have much to compare Elizabeth with. When we're out at the children's activities, the others Elizabeth's age don't talk much, but I don't know if that's because they can't or because they are shy, or because they are busy playing.
But the play leaders at the childrens centre have all commented to me separately about how good her language is.
