A rose by any other name

I spotted this pretty little rose today, growing out of a pot in our garden - Mark says he "rescued" the rose from somewhere. I didn't ask any questions. I also spoke to a Rose today - my friend Sharon's 4 week old baby Rosie and I had our first video-chat on Skype. She yawned, I laughed, she squeaked, I cooed - I think we're going to get on well.

Just returned from an evening at the flicks. We watched The Iron Lady, and we both really enjoyed it - Meryl Streep's performance was really wonderful, and even made me feel sorry for her... until I remembered that she took away my free school milk!
