Hawthorn blossom - Nature's Art

Hawthorn blossom is very quickly becoming a favourite of mine - thanks to BLIP and my greater notice of its delicate artwork!

Quite a funny day today, after living at least 3 hours away from close family members for over 20 years and with my father living abroad since I was 18, I am now in a strange position of having my father and my step mother living 5 miles away, for at least a year! It will be a good thing (I think), but will take some getting used too after being so independent for so long!

Three beautiful things:

The cottage continuing to return to its former glory! (we managed to beat the rain and get all the first coat done today - I helped! )

A beautiful gift of a heart pendant from Dad and Carina.

An unexpected supper with family.

My futon - something for Dad and Carina to sleep on until they get their place sorted!
