Succulent Flowers

We have a quite a few succulents in the garden and this variety is just coming into flower. The leaves on the plant are quite vicious with sharp thorns, similar to a rose thorn, running along the leaf edge. The flowers are on stems about 4 ft high, or 130cms if you are able to think metric. They are much more interesting now they are in flower, but I'm not entirely sure I really like them !
