Olympian

Evening all.

The bad weather that was forescast has just (1130pm) started to sweep in and gain some momentum and vigour.

I don't care, safe behind bricks and mortar it can do its worst, it shall prove nothing more than an accompaniment to the nocturnal Bolivian nose flute that my wife seems to play when she is very tired.

We have had a good family day geocaching in and around Wortley, six out of eight found, a lovely hot turkey sandwich from the farm shop at the beginning and a vanilla slice at the end.

This picture doesn't really give you the scale, the obstacle was at least 12 feet high, but my wife didn't have the right lens on as i leapt it a la Mr Fosbury, but i felt one leap was enough, and sadly as the weather was closing in we didn't have time for another shot with the Exaggerator lens on.

(Actually the best part of this photo i have cropped out. the look of utter contempt and shame on my daughter's face, as her father leaps a small tree in an otherwise empty field...how embarrassing can one dad be?)

Right off to have a little nightcap to maintain my olympian physique, ( i still could make the GB team yet!!)
