A Hard Fought Contest...

The Colmcille's GFC run a coaching programme for all the local schools, taking 1st and 2nd class kids for an hour's coaching every fortnight. Not that Monkey Boy needs a reason to run around a field after a ball! But they've given him an excuse anyway...

As a final hurrah, they organized a blitz between the five schools involved, to give the kids a chance to try out their skills. Unfortunately, they decided to hold it on the first day of the Easter holidays!

Result - half a team from Scoil Monkey Boy, and half from the Gaelscoil. And a good chat with his mate while it all gets sorted out!
