Yesterday was just a warm up. 80 miles and 4,000ft? Pfffft. Today's little spin was to Sa Calobra (this should give you a taste) and back: 62 miles and 6,200ft of climbing. I took about 40 minutes to get up to the top which is about twice as slow as a pro. That's not to say people don't over do it; I stopped with one girl who was completely heaving her guts up from over exertion until her coach showed up.

Tired legs all round after today!

The other big problem (I find) is that it's difficult to eat enough food without feeling ill; today's cycle alone used >5,000 calories.

Our apartment is right on the beach and everyday there's a guy out building an amazing sandcastle; this is just a small section of it.
