What a morning! The gales blew the side gate off in the night and when we woke up this morning our two border collies were gone... Cue hysterics and a short episode of me running into the street wearing only pjs... Then more level headed getting Dave out of bed and into the car to look, phoning my brother to go out looking with his dog (they live in the same street as us) and getting Daisy dressed so I could take her out looking with me.
Sense prevailed when we got to our local shop, and I popped in to put a notice up - only to find they already had one up as they'd found two dogs! Well, there was no question over ownership when Freddie launched himself at me!
So, four new bolts later, our gate shouldn't move anywhere, and the dogs have had more fuss than ever before. Alls well that ends well.
