Bournemouth Balloon
Drove Adam Henson down to Bournemouth today - he was guest speaker at an Inner Wheel (women's branch of Rotary Club) convention - he was expecting about 3/400 people and there was 2,200 - so we hadn't taken enough of his books for the signing in the afternoon following his talk - some very disappointed ladies.
The weather was absolutely beautiful in Bournemouth - cold but sunny - no rain or snow. While Adam was giving his talk I had a quick trip down to the pier and beach and blipped the Bournemouth Balloon. - it's a tethered balloon that holds up to 28 people and on fine days climbs to 150 metres - adults £12.50 - can take wheelchairs.
