Serendipity

Talking with my son over the weekend about game theory, and the Nash Equilibrium (let all the players of the game think about the other players' best interests - and they'll reach their own) - I hadn't realised we had a copy of Sylvia Nasar's "A Beautiful Mind" - the basis of a film about Nash's troubled life.

But why is there a book mark, in the form of an index card for a book by a Dutch artist ? On the reverse is a cryptic note in another son's hand: 'lit F 07:250 PLA'

All this arises from sorting out books as part of moving house slowly over the next few months. Took a carful to Oxfam today. But not this one.
