When I bought my bike it came with pedals and a saddle but the pedals came with toe-straps and the saddle was more uncomfortable than a piece of curved plastic would have been. Whilst the pedals scraped a surprising £24 on eBay no-one wanted the saddle, which hid in an EBC bag in a plastic box in cupboards and the loft for years until being donated to Keith, whose seatpost and saddle had been nicked.
