SNOW

Day 5

We left our lovely cottage, and climbed up this track to where we had carefully parked the cars the night before, having been warned it might snow. The next two hours were spent trying to get out of the valley.....to cut a long story short, had it not been for a Landrover and four lovely Welsh people, we might still be there......

It was a very scary exciting way to end a lovely holiday.

ETA: I am reliably informed that it actually took us three hours to get out, not two. Either way, my shoulders ache from pushing the Volvo out of a snowy ditch!
