Around Sunset

As the sun went on round over the western hills tonight, the light ricocheting off the clouds made for a wonderful display of color! What began as soft pastel colors ramped up to some marvelously bold colors as time passed.

As much as I love my trees in the woods, there are times such as this when I wish I could merely set them aside...just for a few minutes, while I bask in the light show!

I had awakened at 4:52 am (aren't digital alarm clocks just so wonderful?) this morning, just in time to see the moon heading over the hills. I had thought I might capture a photo, but within minutes, the moon was gone.....
