Perfect View

The view from Appleton Tower this morning was rather stunning. Layered in front of the snowy Pentlands are the tenements of Marchmont, the Meadows, the University Library, and in the foreground the trees of George Square. There is a frost on the ground, the temperature is hovering around freezing and the sky is clear. A perfect Winters day in April.
