Trying to use photoshop

I have not yet got to grips with manipulating images with photoshop. I have tried using the clone tool with varying success and thought it was time to try to create something different. This shot of a badminton shuttlecock is my 1st attempt at this. The shuttle in this photo was never moving. I hope to have at least given something of the impression that the shot was taken while it was in flight,
