Today was jam packed with culture, food, and sun. I took Kylie to the mosque where I showed her around, the men sat and talked with us about life and Islam, and course they fed us. Kylie walked away saying she felt very peaceful. After the mosque I showed her Old Town and that is where we ran into my Vietnamese friends at a cooking store. I guess it was Vietnamese culture day at the cooking store so they were serving an array of homemade Vietnamese food. After shopping and Turkish tea we settled in for a nice Indian meal. I love having friends who enjoy culture and trying new things as much as I do. After Kylie left, I submitted my application for the cultural mentor position.
