Tea in the courtyard

Another beautiful sunny morning. Up early and baked banana loaf with choc pieces for Killer Queen's builders.

Drove over to Mugdock to give MP a proper dog walk with all her favourite elements - chasing the ball, swimming, bogs, ponds, other dogs, sniffs and smells and then enjoyed a cup of tea in the courtyard. It was quite sheltered there, so we were able to sit out quite happily...... and anyway, the other tea room won't allow dogs outside on their decking anyway.

Feeling a bit yuk today, so the tea was very welcome. Fighting a bit of a cold and periods of no energy. Maybe getting to grips with the TiVo box has taken it out of me!!

On returning home, I fell asleep on the couch while Eubers made a fabby lunch - lined a muffin tin with buttered bread, layered in some bechamel sauce (with oodles of nutmeg ...mmm) then put in some ham, an egg then topped again with more bechamel sauce and stuck it in the oven for 10. Woke me up to eat it - glad he did, as it was gorgeous! It comes out like a little pie.

After than, fell asleep again for most of the afternoon but ensured MP was shut out of the lounge so she couldn't pop in to "kiss" me!!
