GAME BIRD

Welcome to your Easter Chick ! - otherwise known as a 'Game Bird'. This one is an Old English Silver Duckwing Cock Bird.

Old English Game has been seen in Great Britain since the 19th Century and descend from ancient fighting cocks.

The breed is still popular as an ornamental fowl, hence Michael is starting a breeding group. Has to shield himself with a dustbin lid to tackle our friend here !
There are now two types of Old English Game: The Carlisle and The Oxford. The Carlisle Old English Game has a horizontal back, a large breast and can be seen in 13 different colours while the Oxford Old English Game has an angled back and has 30 different colour varieties.
