7. READ A BOOK

To read is to live; to live is to Create. Around the age of sixteen I became aware of the Power and Influence of written prose. This moment in my brief history has placed a mark that cannot be erased. By way of a book I traveled, laughed [out loud], been brought to tears and have skipped meals [just to read]. Confucius said, "No matter how busy you may think you are, you must find time for reading, or surrender yourself to self-chosen ignorance." The reading of books ignite the Soul and stimulate the Imagination like colors intoxicates the Painter. Read something: be inspired!
