OK Stirling, Aff the Bike
Euan's biking skills are coming on in leaps and bounds, and his leg muscles must be firming up nicely as he didn't even realise he was breaking any speed limits when this cop pulled him over. To be fair, he was never, ever going to outrun this machine. Not much can. Limited to a top speed of 186mph and shoving over 200bhp through its wheels its, according to the Kawasaki website, the world's fastest production bike.
Luckily the nice cop let him off with a warning (after 'confiscating' Euan's sausage roll and Irn Bru).
Actually, I'm not even sure this is a bonafide traffic bike as the officer using it said it had been donated to them for evaluation and was mostly being used in training. He did say it was a lot different from the usual BMWs he normally patrolled on though and he was more than happy for us take a few snaps - he didn't even mind when I suggested it would look much better with the Ochil Hills behind it and he happily set it up for a few more shots.
He did draw the line though when I asked if he wouldn't mind trying a HUB shot with his new bike.
And, yes, it is that green.
And, coincidentally, we were cycling on the Stirling road (If you watch the video the title will make perfect sense).
